The University of Wisconsin – Madison is proud to take part in the Jimmy V Foundation CORC initiative. The Comparative Oncology Working Group (COWG) is a team of researchers from both the School of Veterinary Medicine and the Carbone Cancer Center that collaborates to explore the similarities of cancers in humans and dogs. The purpose of this group is to conduct studies and clinical trials that will more efficiently translate canine research models into prevention, diagnosis and treatments for both companion animals and humans.
